Arusha
Your journey of restoration begins the moment you land at Kilimanjaro International Airport. You are transported by our team away from the noise to a lush, century-old coffee estate in Arusha, designed specifically to serve as an atmospheric airlock between the frantic modern world and the deep African bush.
Enjoy a grounding “Jet-Lag Recovery” massage and a quiet, farm-to-table dinner featuring nutrient-dense local ingredients. You will rest in private colonial-style cottages featuring deep soaking bathtubs, a tranquil wellness spa, and oxygen-rich tropical gardens.
Tarangire
Tarangire
Today is dedicated to mindful movement and sensory awakening. Stripped of the noise of an engine, our expert walking guides lead you onto the earth to experience the wilderness exactly as our ancestors did.
Begin with morning “Maisha Marefu” (Long Life) turmeric wellness shots, followed by a “Signature Silent Walk” led by a Maasai warrior to sharpen your senses and quiet your mind. Enjoy unfenced wilderness access, a tranquil swimming pool, and dedicated meditation spaces.
Tarangire
Your final day in the Tarangire region focuses on deep, internal reflection. The towering, ancient Baobab trees serve as powerful symbols of grounded strength and resilience.
Experience a private, guided meditation beneath a 3,000-year-old Baobab tree, an afternoon holistic spa ritual, and a plant-based, organic dinner under the stars. You are supported by private 4×4 vehicles, luxurious lounge areas, and bespoke dining setups.
Ngorongoro Highlands
We seamlessly transfer you from the warm plains into the cool, mist-shrouded Ngorongoro Highlands. The shift in altitude and temperature provides a literal and metaphorical breath of fresh air. Your lodge is an architectural marvel of geodesic canvas domes tucked into a mountain forest.
Empakaai Crater
Physical exertion in nature is a powerful emotional release. Today, our guides lead you down into the Empakaai Crater, a lesser-known, profoundly quiet caldera featuring a sparkling soda lake ringed by vibrant pink flamingos.
Embark on a challenging, deeply rewarding half-day hike into the Empakaai Crater, followed by a traditional Maasai blessing ceremony to honor your personal journey. The camp provides premium hiking provisions, deep soaking tubs in your dome, and roaring evening fires.
You wake up feeling fundamentally altered—lighter, grounded, and intensely present. Enjoy a final, unhurried mountain breakfast before we manage your scenic flight back to Arusha.
Enjoy a morning of quiet reflection in the mountain air, your transfer to the Manyara airstrip, and your outbound international flight. We guarantee seamless and stress-free transfer logistics.
A tranquil plantation retreat blending coffee heritage with refined luxury and serene forest surroundings.
An intimate bush camp offering safari living, immersive wildlife encounters, and understated elegance.
A secluded forest hideaway where privacy, nature, and personalized safari moments come together.
A dramatic rimside sanctuary with crater views, combining opulence with Africa’s iconic landscapes.
Perched on the crater’s edge, this lodge offers breathtaking views and an authentic safari experience.

Wellness Safari

7 Days 6 Nights
Northern Tanzania
Relaxed to Moderate
Preparing for your journey with East Africa Safari Guides ensures that your transition into the heartof the wild—and onto the shores of the Indian Ocean—is as smooth as the savannah breeze. Please review the following requirements to ensure a seamless entry into Tanzania and Kenya
Passport & Visa Requirement
Passport Validity:
Your passport must be valid for at least six (6) months beyond your intended departure date. Ensure you have at least three (3) blank visa pages to accommodate entry and exit stamps for both the mainland and island territories.
Tanzania & Zanzibar (Including Pemba & Mafia):
All U.S. and Canadian passport holders require a tourist visa for entry. While Tanzania and Zanzibar share federal immigration status, the islands maintain their own entry checkpoints.
Host Information (when prompted):
Host: East Africa Safari Guides Ltd.
Address: 11512, Levolosi, Arusha – Tanzania
Contact: +255 753 744 283 / +255 757 149 848, info@easguides.travel
Kenya Entry (Electronic Travel Authority):
Kenya has replaced traditional visas with an Electronic Travel Authority (eTA). All travelers, including infants and children, must obtain an eTA via etakenya.go.ke prior to departure.
Health & Wellness
Vaccinations & Malaria: East Africa is a malaria-endemic region. We recommend consulting a travel medicine specialist at least 8 weeks prior to travel to discuss prophylaxis (such as Malarone).
Yellow Fever Protocols: A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is required if you are arriving from a country with a risk of Yellow Fever transmission (including a transit of more than 12 hours). If you are flying directly from Europe or North America into Tanzania, the vaccine is generally not required but is often recommended. Note: Proof of vaccination is frequently checked when flying between Nairobi and Arusha, or when arriving in Zanzibar from certain regions.
Special Considerations for the Islands (Zanzibar, Pemba & Mafia)
The islands offer a different pace and set of customs than the mainland.
Marine & Conservation Fees
Exploring the pristine waters of our marine parks requires specific daily conservation permits. These fees directly support the preservation of our coral reefs and the livelihoods of local fishing communities.
Mafia Island Marine Park:
Visitors staying within the Marine Park boundaries (the Utende area) or visiting the Whale Shark zones must pay a daily conservation fee.
Pemba (Misali Island & Pemba Channel):
As of late 2025, the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar has updated its fee structure for protected marine areas.
Mandatory Zanzibar Inbound Travel Insurance
All international visitors entering the Zanzibar Archipelago (including Unguja, Pemba, and Mafia) must hold a mandatory insurance policy issued by the Zanzibar Insurance Corporation (ZIC). This is a government requirement regardless of any existing global travel insurance you may hold.
Traveling with Families & Children
For our guests traveling with younger explorers, East Africa is a magnificent classroom.
Professional Advice for the Discerning Traveler
A Note on “Island Time”: While East Africa Safari Guides maintains rigorous standards of punctuality, the islands of Pemba and Mafia operate on a gentler rhythm. We invite you to embrace this “Pole Pole” (slowly, slowly) philosophy the moment you step off the plane.
