My wife and I travelled to Tanzania to celebrate her birthday, and we were not disappointed. We did not have time for the full five-day tour, but the tour company was very accommodating and allowed us to customise a three-day tour. Micky, our guide, was outstanding — very professional and mindful of our safety at all times, with excellent driving skills on the highways and in the parks. Micky was constantly plugged into his network of other guides, resulting in real-time information about animal sightings. Along the way, he shared information about the history, geology and geography of the area. The jaw-dropping experience on the last day was beyond amazing — Micky positioned the Land Cruiser perfectly and we witnessed a herd of 40 to 50 elephants crossing the road 10 feet in front of our vehicle. Utterly amazing. My wife and I are still smiling. Highly recommended.
