Kudos to the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) for the remarkable project of relocating 21 endangered Black Rhinos from three conservation parks: Lewa Downs, Ol Pejeta Conservancy, and Nairobi National Park. This program, initiated by the Kenyan Government in January 2024, aims to control the population of Black Rhinos in these conservancies and enhance their breeding opportunities. Now, the security of the 21 Black Rhinos will be maximized. Loisaba Conservancy, where the rhinos are kept, is located in the Northern Laikipia Plateau in Kenya. Currently, Kenya is home to more than 900 rhinos, a significant increase from the approximately 240 that existed in 1984.
