Day 1: Arrival Nairobi, Kenya | 1 Night

When you land in Nairobi, someone will greet you and take you to your hotel. Nairobi is like a small version of the whole African continent. It's the starting point for an exciting adventure filled with amazing sights in Kenya and Tanzania, some of the most breathtaking places on Earth.

Stay at the Nairobi Serena Hotel

Day 2 & 3: Amboseli National Park

Let's go for a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park, home to a diverse array of wildlife, especially the majestic elephants. Over 1,000 of these incredible creatures call the park their home. As we approach, we'll be greeted by the breathtaking sight of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa and the only free-standing Mountain on Earth, standing tall at 19,341 feet with its snowy cap.

Our lodge waits – nestled among acacia trees, offering a tranquil retreat beneath the shadow of Kilimanjaro. After a delicious lunch, we'll set out to explore the park's diverse landscape – from acacia woodlands to freshwater swamps, vegetation brush, and open plains - in search of the park's inhabitants. Keep your eyes out for mirages dancing on the dried-up lake bed, adding to the magic of the scenery.

Get ready for a memorable evening filled with good company and delicious food.

On day 3:

Embark on morning and afternoon game drives to explore the park's vast herds of elephants, zebra, and wildebeest along the saltpan trails. Be prepared for sightings of predators as they roam the plains in search of prey. Conclude the day with dinner at your lodge and enjoy a tranquil evening beneath the African night sky.

Day 4: Transfer to Arusha - Tanzania

Head across the border at Loitoktok and make your way into Tanzania. Journey to your hotel nestled on the beautiful slopes of Mount Meru. Later in the day, take a pit stop at the Serval Wildlife Sanctuary to discover their amazing rescue efforts.

Get up close and personal with zebras, giraffes, white lions, and more! Afterward, make your way back to your hotel and unwind with a lovely Scenic Sundowner by Lake Duluti before coming together for a delicious dinner.

Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park + Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Hop in your car in Arusha and head towards Lake Manyara National Park. Keep your eyes peeled for laid-back baboons, tiny dik-diks munching on food under acacia trees, and herds of buffalo, wildebeest, and zebra hanging out on the sunny plains. If you're lucky, you might even spot a tree-climbing lion seeking a cool breeze in the acacia woodland.

After you've had your fill of wildlife sightings, grab some lunch and then head to a local village. Experience the village life from the back of a tuk-tuk as you zip past rice fields and through the community.

Next stop: Ngorongoro Crater. Make your way up the steep outer wall, surrounded by lush vegetation. This ancient caldera is home to a variety of animals like lions, elephants, hyenas, and gazelles.

In the afternoon, get a taste of local flavors with a Chef's Table demonstration at the hotel kitchen. Watch and learn as you prepare and sample some delicious dishes.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive - A World Wonder

This morning, head down into the crater a step ahead of the rest — all thanks to the prime location of your accommodations on the crater’s edge. This is the best time to catch the resident wildlife in action as they start their day.

The prairies of this amazing “Lost World” are perfect for spotting buffalo, elephants, and a variety of other creatures that call the crater’s 100-square-mile area home.

Keep an eye out for flamingos (if it's the right season) and the elusive black rhino. After lunch, pay a visit to a Maasai village to immerse yourself in the everyday life and traditions of these nomadic cattle herders. Enjoy!

Day 7: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

Head out on a scenic drive to the vast and wildlife-rich Serengeti National Park, where you'll be surrounded by a stunning mix of savanna grassland and volcanic hills. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to stop for a privately guided tour of Olduvai Gorge, a significant site for prehuman hominid fossils.

This is where renowned paleontologists Mary and Louis Leakey made many groundbreaking discoveries, including the famous “Nutcracker Man” who lived around 1.75 million years ago.

Explore the on-site museum, admire the views from the lookout point, and observe the excavations that uncovered ancient footprints dating back 3.7 million years and a human skull from 1.8 million years ago. After your tour, continue on to your lodge, where you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the Serengeti landscape, home to a variety of wildlife such as lions, leopards, hyenas, cheetahs, giraffes, and topis.

Your lodge features a blend of elegant and contemporary design with influences from the traditional Maasai culture, providing a unique and comfortable setting for your stay.

Don't forget to keep an eye out for the Great Migration, a stunning natural spectacle that passes through the Serengeti National Park each year. Enjoy your time in this beautiful and unforgettable destination!

Day 9 & 10: Masai Mara Game Drive

The vast landscape is home to 450 bird species, 95 different types of animals, and all the famous predators, including the largest population of lions in Kenya.

Once you settle into your cozy tented accommodations, located right in the middle of Mara's four game-viewing areas, take a leisurely drive through the reserve to explore all it has to offer.
