Itineraries > Milestone Celebration Safari > The 10-Day Eternal Vow
The ultimate luxury is time. This itinerary is specifically designed to eliminate the exhausting pace of standard tours. By enforcing longer stays at fewer, highly exclusive camps, we allow you to truly unpack, exhale, and sink into the rhythm of Africa.
This journey is crafted for couples wishing to renew their vows or simply celebrate their enduring commitment. It features extended, unhurried game drives, deeply private accommodations, and culminates in a beautifully orchestrated, intimate vow renewal ceremony arranged on the spectacular rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.

Arusha
Arrive in Arusha and transfer to a serene lodge hidden within a coffee estate. We dedicate two full nights here. There is no rushing to pack bags the next morning; instead, you have a full day to rest, recover from jet lag, and prepare your minds for the wilderness.
Tarangire
Transfer to Tarangire National Park for a three-night stay in a canvas lodge that blends seamlessly into the environment. The days here are intentionally slow. You can spend an entire afternoon sitting quietly at a watering hole, watching generations of elephants come and go.
Park the vehicle near the Tarangire River and simply turn the engine off. Watch the complex social interactions of the elephant herds as they bathe and feed in the dry riverbeds.
Ngorongoro
Spend the day exploring the dramatic landscapes of the northern Serengeti, tracking the massive herds and the apex predators that follow them along the Mara River.
Serengeti
A short flight lands you in the Eastern Serengeti, an area previously closed for cheetah conservation. It is an immense, open plain where you will rarely see another vehicle. This is the grand finale of your safari: sweeping views, intense predator interactions, and absolute quiet in a luxury tented camp.
Focus your game drives entirely on locating and understanding the hunting strategies of the world’s fastest land mammal, utilizing the vast, open terrain.
Heading back Home
Take one last, lingering look at the horizon before a bush plane connects you back to Kilimanjaro International. You return not just with photographs, but with a deeply renewed connection to each other and to the wild.
A serene forest escape near Arusha, blending quiet luxury with immersive natural surroundings.
An authentic safari camp offering sweeping wilderness views and a raw, close-to-nature experience.
A unique crater-edge retreat combining comfort with breathtaking landscapes.
A refined Serengeti sanctuary delivering elegant comfort in the heart of untamed wilderness.

Family Safari
Anyone from 5 to 70+ years old
4 Days 3 Nights
Arusha
Relaxed to Moderate
Preparing for your journey with East Africa Safari Guides ensures that your transition into the heartof the wild—and onto the shores of the Indian Ocean—is as smooth as the savannah breeze. Please review the following requirements to ensure a seamless entry into Tanzania and Kenya
Passport & Visa Requirement
Passport Validity:
Your passport must be valid for at least six (6) months beyond your intended departure date. Ensure you have at least three (3) blank visa pages to accommodate entry and exit stamps for both the mainland and island territories.
Tanzania & Zanzibar (Including Pemba & Mafia):
All U.S. and Canadian passport holders require a tourist visa for entry. While Tanzania and Zanzibar share federal immigration status, the islands maintain their own entry checkpoints.
Host Information (when prompted):
Host: East Africa Safari Guides Ltd.
Address: 11512, Levolosi, Arusha – Tanzania
Contact: +255 753 744 283 / +255 757 149 848, info@easguides.travel
Kenya Entry (Electronic Travel Authority):
Kenya has replaced traditional visas with an Electronic Travel Authority (eTA). All travelers, including infants and children, must obtain an eTA via etakenya.go.ke prior to departure.
Health & Wellness
Vaccinations & Malaria: East Africa is a malaria-endemic region. We recommend consulting a travel medicine specialist at least 8 weeks prior to travel to discuss prophylaxis (such as Malarone).
Yellow Fever Protocols: A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is required if you are arriving from a country with a risk of Yellow Fever transmission (including a transit of more than 12 hours). If you are flying directly from Europe or North America into Tanzania, the vaccine is generally not required but is often recommended. Note: Proof of vaccination is frequently checked when flying between Nairobi and Arusha, or when arriving in Zanzibar from certain regions.
Special Considerations for the Islands (Zanzibar, Pemba & Mafia)
The islands offer a different pace and set of customs than the mainland.
Marine & Conservation Fees
Exploring the pristine waters of our marine parks requires specific daily conservation permits. These fees directly support the preservation of our coral reefs and the livelihoods of local fishing communities.
Mafia Island Marine Park:
Visitors staying within the Marine Park boundaries (the Utende area) or visiting the Whale Shark zones must pay a daily conservation fee.
Pemba (Misali Island & Pemba Channel):
As of late 2025, the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar has updated its fee structure for protected marine areas.
Mandatory Zanzibar Inbound Travel Insurance
All international visitors entering the Zanzibar Archipelago (including Unguja, Pemba, and Mafia) must hold a mandatory insurance policy issued by the Zanzibar Insurance Corporation (ZIC). This is a government requirement regardless of any existing global travel insurance you may hold.
Traveling with Families & Children
For our guests traveling with younger explorers, East Africa is a magnificent classroom.
Professional Advice for the Discerning Traveler
A Note on “Island Time”: While East Africa Safari Guides maintains rigorous standards of punctuality, the islands of Pemba and Mafia operate on a gentler rhythm. We invite you to embrace this “Pole Pole” (slowly, slowly) philosophy the moment you step off the plane.
