Because a honeymoon should not be a rushed checklist of animal sightings; it is the foundational story of your marriage. After the adrenaline and exhaustion of wedding planning, you do not need another schedule. You need absolute, frictionless peace.
East Africa Safari Guides does not just book lodges; we architect your first chapter. Guided by our deeply rooted local expertise, your private “Mindset Mentor” handles every logistical detail, allowing you to completely surrender to the romance of the African plains. From your first cup of locally roasted coffee in Arusha to a private vintage picnic on the rim of a volcanic caldera, we envelop you in a seamless environment of invisible luxury, ensuring your marriage begins in profound, awe-inspiring stillness.
Arusha
Your shared story begins with a profound exhale. Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your private guide whisks you away to a century-old coffee estate. This day is about washing away the travel fatigue and anchoring yourselves in the quiet rhythms of Africa.
Enjoy arrival acclimatization and a private, romantic dinner served by your cottage fireplace. Relax in your colonial-style private cottage, complete with a deep soaking bathtub and lush tropical gardens.
Arusha / Coffee Estate
Before ascending into the wild, you spend a full day recalibrating your nervous systems. There are no early wake-up calls today—just the sound of tropical birds and the scent of roasted coffee.
Indulge in restorative couples’ spa treatments and take a peaceful afternoon walk through the coffee trails. Make use of the wellness spa, swimming pool, and your private terrace.
Ngorongoro Highlands
You leave Arusha behind, winding your way up into the mist-shrouded Ngorongoro Highlands. Arriving at your lodge feels like stepping into a lavish, romantic castle suspended in the clouds, perched directly on the edge of the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera.
Experience a scenic transfer, afternoon high tea overlooking the crater, and settle into your suite. Enjoy the extravagant chandelier-lit suites, personal butler service, and panoramic crater views.
Ngorongoro Crater
You descend into the Ngorongoro Crater at first light. Surrounded by 600-meter-high walls, you witness a dense, thriving ecosystem that feels like the dawn of time, before retreating back to the rim for absolute solitude.
Take a private game drive on the crater floor, followed by returning to a hot, rose-petal bath drawn by your butler. Your suite features freestanding romantic bathtubs, an elegant dining room, and in-room fireplaces.
Eastern Serengeti (Namiri Plains)
A light aircraft flight delivers you to the remote Eastern Serengeti. This specific haven was completely closed to the public for 20 years to protect cheetah populations, ensuring your game viewing is deeply private and uncrowded.
Enjoy your scenic flight, camp arrival, and an introductory afternoon tracking drive with your Mindset Mentor. Unwind in elegant tented suites with transparent canvas walls and private outdoor resin bathtubs.
Eastern Serengeti
Spend the day completely immersed in the rhythm of the plains. You will track resident big cats at your own pace, choosing to sit quietly for hours observing a pride rather than rushing to the next sighting.
Head out on morning and afternoon private cheetah and lion tracking excursions, returning for a couples’ massage at the spa. The camp offers The Asilia Spa, an infinity pool overlooking the plains, and a luxury lounge.
Serengeti (Balloon Region)
You wake before the sun for a quintessential romantic experience. Floating above the Serengeti in a hot air balloon, you watch the sunrise paint the savannah in hues of violet and gold, witnessing the wild from absolute silence.
Experience a sunrise hot air balloon flight for two, followed by a champagne bush breakfast where you land. Enjoy uninterrupted wilderness access, premium dining, and a fire pit.
Serengeti Wilderness
Your final full day in the wild is unscripted. Take a slow walking safari to read the earth together, culminating in an evening designed to leave you speechless under the African sky.
Enjoy a guided walking safari, ending the day with secluded sundowners on a rocky kopje, toasting to your new life together. Take advantage of your private viewing deck and secluded sundowner setups.
Heading back Home
Enjoy one final, lingering breakfast looking out over the endless plains before beginning your journey home, carrying the pulse of the Serengeti with you.
Take a final morning game drive en route to the airstrip before your outbound international flights. Benefit from seamless transfer logistics.
Ideally situated on the outskirts of Arusha, this lodge is a brilliant spot to stay.
A secluded forest retreat overlooking the crater, where calm meets refined comfort and privacy.
A private safari escape crafted for quiet moments and authentic wilderness connection.
A tranquil hideaway blending open landscapes with elevated, understated luxury and privacy.
An intimate safari camp offering raw nature, serenity, and immersive wildlife encounters.

9 Days 8 Nights
Arusha · Ngorongoro · Eastern Serengeti
Relaxed to Moderate
Preparing for your journey with East Africa Safari Guides ensures that your transition into the heartof the wild—and onto the shores of the Indian Ocean—is as smooth as the savannah breeze. Please review the following requirements to ensure a seamless entry into Tanzania and Kenya
Passport & Visa Requirement
Passport Validity:
Your passport must be valid for at least six (6) months beyond your intended departure date. Ensure you have at least three (3) blank visa pages to accommodate entry and exit stamps for both the mainland and island territories.
Tanzania & Zanzibar (Including Pemba & Mafia):
All U.S. and Canadian passport holders require a tourist visa for entry. While Tanzania and Zanzibar share federal immigration status, the islands maintain their own entry checkpoints.
Host Information (when prompted):
Host: East Africa Safari Guides Ltd.
Address: 11512, Levolosi, Arusha – Tanzania
Contact: +255 753 744 283 / +255 757 149 848, info@easguides.travel
Kenya Entry (Electronic Travel Authority):
Kenya has replaced traditional visas with an Electronic Travel Authority (eTA). All travelers, including infants and children, must obtain an eTA via etakenya.go.ke prior to departure.
Health & Wellness
Vaccinations & Malaria: East Africa is a malaria-endemic region. We recommend consulting a travel medicine specialist at least 8 weeks prior to travel to discuss prophylaxis (such as Malarone).
Yellow Fever Protocols: A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is required if you are arriving from a country with a risk of Yellow Fever transmission (including a transit of more than 12 hours). If you are flying directly from Europe or North America into Tanzania, the vaccine is generally not required but is often recommended. Note: Proof of vaccination is frequently checked when flying between Nairobi and Arusha, or when arriving in Zanzibar from certain regions.
Special Considerations for the Islands (Zanzibar, Pemba & Mafia)
The islands offer a different pace and set of customs than the mainland.
Marine & Conservation Fees
Exploring the pristine waters of our marine parks requires specific daily conservation permits. These fees directly support the preservation of our coral reefs and the livelihoods of local fishing communities.
Mafia Island Marine Park:
Visitors staying within the Marine Park boundaries (the Utende area) or visiting the Whale Shark zones must pay a daily conservation fee.
Pemba (Misali Island & Pemba Channel):
As of late 2025, the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar has updated its fee structure for protected marine areas.
Mandatory Zanzibar Inbound Travel Insurance
All international visitors entering the Zanzibar Archipelago (including Unguja, Pemba, and Mafia) must hold a mandatory insurance policy issued by the Zanzibar Insurance Corporation (ZIC). This is a government requirement regardless of any existing global travel insurance you may hold.
Traveling with Families & Children
For our guests traveling with younger explorers, East Africa is a magnificent classroom.
Professional Advice for the Discerning Traveler
A Note on “Island Time”: While East Africa Safari Guides maintains rigorous standards of punctuality, the islands of Pemba and Mafia operate on a gentler rhythm. We invite you to embrace this “Pole Pole” (slowly, slowly) philosophy the moment you step off the plane.
