While standard group tours exhaust their guests with relentless rushing, our itineraries are intentionally designed with “white space.” We do not mandate forced, rushed departures unless tracking specific wildlife like a river crossing, and you will always have dedicated hours during the heat of the day to retreat to your private canvas, read, or utilize the lodge spa.
No, you are never forced to compromise your privacy. Solo travelers are a vital part of our collectives. We offer two seamless options: You may secure your own private tent or suite for the duration of the journey for a standard single supplement fee. Alternatively, if you prefer to waive the supplement, we will flawlessly pair you with another solo traveler of the same gender. If a pairing is unavailable, you receive a private suite at no additional cost.
We do not utilize large, commercial tourist hotels. Your collective will anchor in the same elite, vetted sanctuaries used for our bespoke private safaris. This includes intimate, eco-luxury canvas camps tucked deep into private concessions and exclusive-use properties that prioritize absolute wilderness immersion.

Domestic bush flights strictly mandate soft-sided duffel bags weighing no more than 15kg (33 lbs) per person, inclusive of hand luggage. This is a non-negotiable aviation safety law. To ensure this is effortless for you, complimentary daily laundry service is included at nearly all of our luxury camps, eliminating the need to overpack. Furthermore, any rigid suitcases or excess luggage required for onward travel can be securely stored at our Arusha headquarters at no charge until your safari concludes.
We advocate for a profound digital detox to protect your mental space, but we are pragmatic about the realities of modern business and family life. Most of our curated sanctuaries offer reliable Wi-Fi in the main lodge areas, allowing you to seamlessly check in with home or work. However, out of respect for the wilderness and your fellow collective members, our expedition vehicles and dining areas are strictly maintained as signal-free zones.
