12 Day Family Serengeti Tour 2025: Overview!
Embark on a 12-day African safari holiday with kids, exploring the renowned northern safari circuit. Your journey begins with a warm welcome at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where our professional African safari guide will ensure your safe transfer to the Arusha hotel.
Day 2 & 3: Tarangire National Park – The Biggest African Elephants
The next day, we will begin our tour by driving to Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant African elephants and big old baobab trees.
We will explore the park and stay at Lemala Mpingo Ridge, one of the best bush luxury camps designed for kids and infants. Two nights here are enough to conquer your thirst for wildlife and have a Family safari experience.
Day 4 & 5: Lake Manyara National Park – A home to the Pink Flamingos.
We will then continue to Lake Manyara, a self-secluded wildlife haven; driving through a dense greenish forest is an experience that will last you forever; different animals can be spotted in the park, especially famous African tree-climbing lions.
We will spend the next two nights at Chem Chem Safari Lodge, which is widely known as the heart of a slow safari; this beauty gem is nestled in the heart of nature, surrounded by the sheer size of wildlife like giraffes, zebras, wildebeests to name a few.
During our stay we will participate on a bush walking safari with a Maasai warrior to the edge of Lake Manyara where we will enjoy a well-prepared sundowner with our kids or other siblings.
Day 6 & 7: Ngorongoro Conservation Area & The Golden Caldera!
We are off to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with an opportunity to drive down the most famous caldera on Earth; we will be staying at Ngorongoro Entamanu – a wild camp recognized for its beauty, services, and panoramic views.
During this incredible Ngorongoro safari tour in 2025, we will participate in a village visit; our kids will learn about African culture and perhaps get a chance to play with African Maasai children and engage in their daily activities like looking after the cattle and other activities.
Day 8 – 11: Serengeti National Park – Extra Ordinary Journey!
Once we finish up here, we’ll head to the little airstrip outside the Ngorongoro highlands and hop on a flight to Serengeti National Park. Each safari experience in Serengeti is unique. Serengeti is remarkable whether it is your first time or you are a seasonal safari-goer.
Our kids will be surprised by the hugeness of the Serengeti Park, which has plenty of wildlife, from Rhinos to the smallest creatures and all BIG-5 animals in Africa.
Our stay is at Taasa Lodge, one of the best Serengeti child-friendly safari lodges in the Eastern Serengeti at Ololosokwan Area.
This incredible lodge is built inside a Loliondo private concession. Our kids will also enjoy bird-watching inside this private Serengeti reserve.

Day 12: Transfer Home
